Congratulations to all the Winners of the World Championships of Performing Arts of 2003. So many wonderful people competed from all over the World! We have new found friendships that will last more than a lifetime.

Representing Team Iowa OnTeam USA "Sara Brecht of Cedar Rapids, IA. Watch out America! Sara has what it takes to make it to the show! she's got a voice that is amazing.

Although Sara did not make it to the final 8 Grand championship round, Sara advanced & competed into the Medal Round taking
GOLD in the POP Vocal Category. Brozne in the R&B and Country Vocal Categories! She did a fantastic Job! Very Proud of her!

Once again countries from over 40 countries around the World are sending outstanding competitors to the United States. Over the course of a heated week of events, they will go head to head in a wide variety of competitions. In each category there will be a fierce contest of skills to see who is truly the most accomplished in the world. The winner gets a coveted GOLD MEDAL which brings with it the respect and admiration of people around the globe along with the career opportunity of a lifetime. The incredible strength of national pride pushes each and every one of these competitors to give their best and the result is a must see event.

Yes, we are talking about the Olympics but a different kind of Olympics! Instead of gymnasts, swimmers and long distance runners, we have singers, dancers, actors, comedians, models, bands, instrumentalists and variety (jugglers, magicians, PERFORMERS OF ALL KINDS).

Welcome to THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS OF PERFORMING ARTS (WCOPA), a one-of-a-kind event that blends the strongest appeal of athletic competitions with the entertainment value from performers around the world! Delegations represent countries similar to the Olympics. It is indeed a "rare opportunity for a privileged few."

Griff O'Neil is the Founder and President of the World Championships of Performing Arts; Founder and President of the International Pageant Association (IPA) and the World Association of Talent, Modeling and Entertainment (WATME). O’Neil, worked as an executive producer or consultant with most of the major televised pageants during his 25 year career i.e. MISS AMERICA, MISS UNIVERSE, MISS USA, MISS TEENAGE AMERICA, MISS WORLD AMERICA, MRS. AMERICA, ALL AMERICAN WOMAN, AND MISS HOLLYWOOD, states "Sports has its Olympics, and now the Performing Arts has its World Championships! This is the only official international competition for seasoned, and up-and-coming performers and entertainers."

THE ANNUAL PERFORMING ARTS OLYMPICS

THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS OF PERFORMING ARTS celebrates its seventh year and is now universally cited as the one-and-only official "Olympics" for aspiring performers and entertainers! This ultimate global meet was developed as an outlet for aspiring international performers and models to acquire invaluable experience and recognition. It is the only worldwide competition of its kind annually held in "Hollywood", the entertainment capital of the world. Seven hundred contestants from 40 countries and the USA competed at the 2002 spectacular event! Over 150 persons from the entertainment industry (i.e. agents, managers, record label reps and producers) were invited to judge, conduct educational seminars and "go-sees". A record number of callbacks were issued!

The grand prize at the sports Olympics is the GOLD MEDAL, symbolizing excellence! The Grand Prize at the World Championships of Performing Arts is also the Gold! However, besides awarding Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals, Olympic-style trophies are presented to overall winners in various categories of competition. The ultimate, preeminent prize is winning the GRAND CHAMPION PERFORMER OF THE WORLD TITLE... along with the specially designed trophy and $5,000 cash!

CONTESTANTS

Every contestant who attends THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS OF PERFORMING ARTS in Hollywood is screened, qualified and selected under guidelines executed by licensed National Directors from invited countries. Selected individuals called "Scouts" qualify and invite members for Team USA and Canada, and licensed National Directors stage auditions and contests to select delegates for invited countries. This global system of international competitions is "invitational only"! Special emphasis is placed on "entertainment value" during judging. This in no way takes away from the technical aspect of the performances, however, judges are looking for that special charisma and marketability that most top entertainers have. Performance times are strictly enforced.

Popular TV host, Bob Eubanks, emceed the finals with the winners selected by a prestigious panel of entertainment industry "movers and shakers": the founder of Tri-Star Pictures; Senior Vice President of TV Development and Production - Universal Studios Hollywood; the manager of the 5-time Grammy Award winners, the Winans; TV packaging executive from the William Morris Agency; Producer of the CBS-TV hit series "Touched By An Angel"; CEO of the world's largest booking agency for models and talent; the designer of multi-winning floats for the Tournament of Roses Parade; and the
A & R Coordinator from Atlantic Records!

The television producer of the popular daytime television show, "Life Moments", selected three contestants and followed them with camera crews from start to finish of the competition. Each will be shown as featured performing segments in future shows!
